Kabocha squash - yum!

I just had my first kabocha squash of the season, and wow, was it sweet and delicious! I ate it steamed, then cooled, dipping it in the addictive Hope hummus. Next time, I might use it for squash soup, or roast it. Amazingly, even the skin is edible, and gets soft with cooking. Thank you for bringing in this delicious seasonal food!
